  1. One Drive just deleted six years' worth of sound files from my computer and removed almost all of the icons from my desktop when it "backed up" my computer. Feels more like it was hijacked. How can I get my icons back on my desktop? Since I've uploaded all my files, does Microsoft now own them? Microsoft tech support was no help at all. Any advice on how to get my files back to my computer would be greatly appreciated so I could get rid of One Drive. My experience has been disastrous.

  2. Auto-sync or backup folders on PC:

When I click on the cloud icon, I get the option of either "Create account" or "Sign in"

    1) When I click on "Create account" – it takes me to my OneDrive account on the browser, since I already have an OneDrive account and linked to my PC

    2) When I click "Sign in" – I get the following: You're already syncing a personal OneDrive on this computer

Not sure if I am missing something or there is a glitch?

  3. Normally all information on one drive show in my PC or my computer one drive folder, when I store something in one drive folder in my PC or my computer it is automatically stored in my One Drive cloud storage and delete anyone it is automatically deleted from One drive, in this situation when I want to sell my Laptop, anyone can use or see my information from my PC one drive folder although I am signed out in one drive. What will I do and protect my information when selling my laptop? Please help me!!!!
